Hollander Sleep Products partners with HeiQ to provide crucial anti-viral bedding products
Cruise Ship Hospitality Expo Health & Hygiene Zone exhibitor Hollander Sleep Products, one of America’s largest bed pillow manufacturers, recently announced a strategic agreement with HeiQ of Switzerland. Both experts in their respective fields, the agreement enhances the application potential of both products. Hollander will implement the advanced textile application HeiQ Viroblock on basic bedding products for the consumer and hospitality markets in North America.
Hollander and HeiQ began working on testing and developing anti-viral bedding applications in March and have validated third-party lab testing results for anti-viral performance according to ISO18184 testing methods, in the most popular basic bedding fabrics.
High-performance textiles from HeiQ
HeiQ, a pioneer in textile innovation, has created numerous high-performance Swiss textile technologies for apparel and home textile applications. The HeiQ Viroblock technology applied to fabric has been shown to kill 99.99% of viruses and bacteria within less than 30 minutes on a variety of fabrics. Hollander will have the exclusive rights to sell basic bedding items with HeiQ Viroblock finish in the hospitality markets for North America.
